- Open Seller Central https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/homepage.html
- In the “Ship Orders” widget click Ship Your Orders.
- On the “Manage Orders” click the order number of the first Canadian order to fill.
- Open Shopify https://free-range-pumpkins.myshopify.com/admin
- Click “Orders” on the left
- Press the “Create Order” button at the top right of the screen.
- (In Seller Central) Copy the customer’s name and paste it in the “Search customers” field on Shopify
- If the customer does not already exist, click “Create a new customer” in Shopify
- Copy and paste the customer’s name, address and phone number into the popup form and click “Save Customer” once you have verified the information has copied correctly.
- Copy and paste the Order Number from Seller Central to the “Notes” section in Shopify
- Copy the SKU from the Amazon order and paste it into the “Search Products field in Shopify.
- Select the correct item from the popup box in Shopify and click the Add button
- Adjust the quantity to match what the customer ordered.
- Open XE (currency conversion website) https://www.xe.com/ in another browser tab
- Using the dropdowns, set the From currency to Canadian Dollar and the To currency to US Dollar
- In the Amount field on XE, type the Unit Price on Amazon and press Convert.
- If the converted amount is the same as the amount shown in Shopify skip to step 20, otherwise continue to step 18
- If the converted amount is More
- Click “Add custom item” in Shopify
- Type “Canadian conversion error” in Line item name in Shopify.
- Put the difference between the Shopify price and the converted amount in XE in the Price per Item field.
- Leave the quantity at 1. Uncheck “Item is taxable” and “Item requires shipping”. Click “Done”
- If the converted amount is Less
- Click Add Discount
- Select “Amount” as the Discount Type
- Type “Canadian conversion error” in Reason in Shopify. Put the difference between the Shopify price and the converted amount in XE in the discount Value field. Click “Apply”
- Repeat steps 11- 19 for each item sold in the Canadian Amazon order.
- Now we are going to add shipping. In the Amount field on XE, type the Shipping Total on Amazon and press Convert.
- Click Add Shipping in Shopify
- Check the Custom button
- Type “Amazon Canada” in Rate name in Shopify.
- Put the converted amount from XE in the Price field.
- Click Apply
- In the Tags section, Type or select Amazon Canada
- Click Collect Payment and select “Mark as Paid” in Shopify
- Click “Create Order” in the pop-up box on Shopify
- Select the “Print Packing Slip” button at the top of the list
- The packing slips will pop up in a new window. Select the correct printer and print.
- Using the packing slips as reference, gather all of the items sold.
- Pay close attention to the quantity ordered
- If you cannot find an item for an order, attach a sticky note to the packing slip and put it aside for your manager
- Prepare each order for shipment.
- Locate the appropriate size box or bag from the packing room
- Gather any necessary fillers (packing peanuts, bubble wrap or paper)
- Weigh the order along with all the packing materials and box/bag
- Write the weight (rounding up to the nearest ounce) on the back of the packing slip in pencil.
- Write the size of the box or bag on the back of the packing slip in pencil
- Do not seal the package!
- Open ShipRush https://my.shiprush.com/
- Click “Ready to Ship” on the left
- For each order, select the corresponding entry in the list of shipments.
- Match the order number in the shipment list to the order number on AmazonDo not select the shorter order number in this step… we will address that entry later.Enter the weight and size of the package using the information you wrote on the back of the packing slipClick the down arrow next to “Service” and then select “Estimate Cost and Delivery Date”Use the deliver by date under customer option on the “Manage Orders” page in Seller Central as a guide to identify the most cost-efficient shipping method to get the package there on time.Select the option you chose (make sure the “Account” is Amazon
- Click “Ship”
- Open Shopify https://free-range-pumpkins.myshopify.com/admin
- Click “Orders” on the left
- Select the order you just printed a label for
- Click the “Mark as Fulfilled” button
- Copy the tracking number from Ship Rush
- Paste the tracking number and select the shipping carrier used for the order
- Click the “Fulfill Items” button on the right
- Repeat steps 9-17 to generate a shipping label for each order
- Stack all other carriers in separate piles on front table
