- Open Seller Portal https://sellerportal.newegg.com/
- Click “Manage Order” on the left, then click “Order List”
- On the “Order List” page click the Order Number of the first order with the “Unshipped” Status
- Select “Generate Package” on the left
- Click “Print Package Packing List” on the right
- The packing slip(s) will pop up in a new tab. Select the print icon on the top right to print.
- A print dialogue window will pop up. Select the correct printer and print the packing slip.
- Open Shopify https://free-range-pumpkins.myshopify.com/admin
- Click “Orders” on the left
- Press the “Create Order” button at the top right of the screen.
- (In Newegg) Copy the customer’s name and paste it in the “Search customers” field on Shopify
- If the customer does not already exist, click “Create a new customer” in Shopify
- Copy and paste the customer’s name and address into the popup form and click “Save Customer” once you have verified the information has copied correctly.
- Copy and paste the Order Number from Newegg to the “Notes” section in Shopify
- Check the Shipping Cost on Newegg. Click “Add Shipping” in Shopify and Add according to what is on the screen. Click the green “Apply” when done.
- Begin typing the name of the item purchased in the search field under “Order Details” in Shopify… a list will begin to populate
- Select the item in the drop-down list (a blue checkmark will fill-in to the left of the item)
- If there is more than one item in the order, type the next item in the search field and select it when it populates in the list. When all of the items have been searched for (and selected) click the green “Add” button at the bottom right of the popup search window.
- Sometimes an item will sell for more on Newegg than on our website. In this case, you will need to add a custom item to make up the difference. If the item has sold for the same price on both platforms, skip to step 24, otherwise continue to step 21.
- Click “Add custom item” in Shopify
- Type “Sold (item name) for more on Newegg” in “Item name” in Shopify. Put the difference in prices in the “Price” field. Uncheck “Item is taxable,” Click “Done”
- Do this for each item that sold for more.
- Ensure total in Shopify matches Order Amount in Newegg
- Click “Mark as Paid” in Shopify
- Click “Create Order” in the pop-up box on Shopify
- Repeat steps 10-25 for each order on Newegg
- Using the packing slips as reference, gather all of the items sold.
- Pay close attention to the quantity ordered
- If you cannot find an item for an order, attach a sticky note to the packing slip and put it aside for your manager
- Prepare each order for shipment.
- Locate the appropriate size box or bag from the packing room
- Gather any necessary fillers (packing peanuts, bubble wrap or paper)
- Weigh the order along with all the packing materials and box/bag
- Write the weight (rounding up to the nearest ounce) on the back of the packing slip in pencil.
- Write the size of the box or bag on the back of the packing slip in pencil
- Do not seal the package!
- Open ShipRush https://my.shiprush.com/
- Click “Ready to Ship” on the left
- For each order, select the corresponding entry in the list of shipments. Match the order number in the shipment list to the order number on Newegg
- Enter the weight and size of the package using the information you wrote on the back of the packing slipClick the down arrow next to “Service” and then select “Estimate Cost and Delivery Date”
Use the “Shipping Service” under “Shipping Information” on Newegg as a guide to identify the most cost-efficient shipping method to get the package there on time.
Select the option you chose (make sure the “Account” is not Amazon
- Click “Ship”
- Enter the weight and size of the package using the information you wrote on the back of the packing slipClick the down arrow next to “Service” and then select “Estimate Cost and Delivery Date”
- Go back to Newegg
- Under Unshipped Package List, fill in the Shipping Carrier, Service, Tracking Number and Shipping Date details using the label you just created.
- Click the “Ship All Packages” button
- Open Shopify https://free-range-pumpkins.myshopify.com/admin
- Click “Orders” on the left
- Select the order you just printed a label for
- Click the “Mark as Fulfilled” button
- Copy the tracking number from Ship Rush
- Paste the tracking number and select the shipping carrier used for the order
- Click the “Fulfill Items” button on the right
- Repeat steps 29-41 to generate a shipping label for each order
- Stack all other carriers in separate piles on front table
