- Open Shopify https://free-range-pumpkins.myshopify.com/admin
- Select “Orders” on the left.
- Click ”More Filters” – a window will slide open on the right of the screen.
- Click the arrow to the right of “Sales Channel” and select “Online Store”. Then click “Done”
- Click “Unfulfilled” at the top of the screen.
- Check the boxes next to the unfulfilled order numbers in the list.
- Click “More actions” and Select “Print packing slips”
- The packing slip(s) will pop up in a new tab. Select the print icon on the top right to print.
- The print dialog box will pop up in a new window. Select the correct printer and print.
- Using the packing slips as reference, gather all of the items sold.
- Pay close attention to the quantity ordered
- If you cannot find an item for an order, attach a sticky note to the packing slip and put it aside for your manager
- Prepare each order for shipment.
- Locate the appropriate size box or bag from the packing room
- Gather any necessary fillers (packing peanuts, bubble wrap or paper)
- Weigh the order along with all the packing materials and box/bag
- Write the weight (rounding up to the nearest ounce) on the back of the packing slip in pencil.
- Write the size of the box or bag on the back of the packing slip in pencil
- Do not seal the package!
- Open ShipRush https://my.shiprush.com/
- Click “Ready to Ship” on the left
- If the customer chose UPS as their shipping method, continue to step 15. Otherwise, skip to step 25.
- For each order, select the corresponding entry in the list of orders.
- Match the order number in the list to the order number on the packing slip.
- Click “Create Shipping Label”
- Click the down arrow under “Package” and locate the size packaging you chose
- Enter the weight of the package using the information you wrote on the back of the packing slip
- Use the shipping service chosen by the customer.
- Click “Buy 1 Shipping label”
- Click “Buy 1 Shipping label”
- Click “Print Shipping label”
- The shipping label will pop up in a new tab. Select the print icon on the top right to print.
- The print dialog box will pop up in a new window. Select the correct printer and print.
- Click the gray icon to the right of the tracking number.
- Go back to ShipRush and select the corresponding order.
- Paste the tracking number you copied in step 19 into the notes section.
- Click the down arrow next to “More”
- Select “Mark as Shipped”
- Go to step 26
- For each order, select the corresponding entry in the list of shipments.
- Match the order number in the shipment list to the order number on the website.Enter the weight and size of the package using the information you wrote on the back of the packing slipClick the down arrow next to “Service” and then select “Estimate Cost and Delivery Date”Use the deliver option chosen by the customer as a guide to identify the most cost-efficient shipping method to get the package there on time.Select the option you chose
- Click “Ship”
- Stack all other carriers in separate piles on the front table
