Filling an Amazon Order

  1. Open Seller Central https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/homepage.html
  2. In the “Ship Orders” widget click Ship Your Orders.
  3. On the “Manage Orders” page check the boxes next to all of the unshipped orders.
  4. Select the “Print Packing Slip” button at the top of the list
  5. The packing slips will pop up in a new window.  Select the correct printer and print.
  6. Using the packing slips as reference, gather all of the items sold.
    1. Pay close attention to the quantity ordered
    1. If you cannot find an item for an order, attach a sticky note to the packing slip and put it aside for your manager
  7. Prepare each order for shipment.
    1. Locate the appropriate size box or bag from the packing room
    1. Gather any necessary fillers (packing peanuts, bubble wrap or paper)
    1. Weigh the order along with all the packing materials and box/bag
    1. Write the weight (rounding up to the nearest ounce) on the back of the packing slip in pencil.
    1. Write the size of the box or bag on the back of the packing slip in pencil
    1. Do not seal the package!
  8. Open ShipRush https://my.shiprush.com/
  9. Click “Ready to Ship” on the left
  10. For each order, select the corresponding entry in the list of shipments.
    1. Match the order number in the shipment list to the order number on AmazonDo not select the shorter order number in this step… we will address that entry later.Enter the weight and size of the package using the information you wrote on the back of the packing slipClick the down arrow next to “Service” and then select “Estimate Cost and Delivery Date”Use the deliver by date under customer option on the “Manage Orders” page in Seller Central as a guide to identify the most cost-efficient shipping method to get the package there on time.Select the option you chose (make sure the “Account” is Amazon
    1. Click “Ship”
  11. Open Shopify https://free-range-pumpkins.myshopify.com/admin
  12. Click “Orders” on the left
  13. Select the order you just printed a label for
  14. Click the “Mark as Fulfilled” button
  15. Copy the tracking number from Ship Rush
  16. Paste the tracking number and select the shipping carrier used for the order
  17. Click the “Fulfill Items” button on the right
  18. Repeat steps 9-17 to generate a shipping label for each order
  19. Stack all other carriers in separate piles on front table
