About Us

Based on the aforementioned statement, Retirement Plan Antiques was established in 2013.   This business grew from a single 64 square foot booth to over 1,500 square feet of antiques, collectibles and contemporary furniture. 

The next logical progression in the continual evolution of Retirement Plan Antiques was to enter the realm of Estate Sales in 2014.  In this arena, we took our time in learning the generally established processes and procedures.  This education enabled us to identify ways on maximizing your return, minimizing your overall involvement and the creation of a multi-step approach that guarantees a successful sale.

We accept cash, debit cards and credit cards (MC, Visa, Amex & Discover) for purchases over $20 in order to maximize sales.

Whether you are selling your family’s heirlooms, liquidating, down-sizing, retiring or moving, we are able to assist you in this endeavor.  We are bonded and insured.

The RPA Estate Sale Process

PREPARATION

  • RPA arranges, organizes & stages all items to be sold.
    • RPA research the items that will assure you of their maximum value.
    • RPA provides items such as stickers, tags and signs.
    • RPA advertises on all of the local and national ad sites as well as additional relative estate sale sites.

SALE DAYS

  • RPA places signage directing individuals to the location
    • RPA staffs for the event
    • RPA re-merchandises as items sell down
    • RPA coordinates pick-ups of large items and can offer delivery if required
    • RPA reduces prices by 50-75% on the last day to have maximum sell through
    • RPA accepts cash, debit cards and credit cards (MC, Visa, Amex & Discover) for purchases over $20 in order to maximize sales.

POST SALE

  • RPA provides you with multiple options for the remaining items:
    • Donations – the remaining items can be donated to various charities
    • Returned – the remaining items can be returned to you
    • Auction – we utilize several auction houses in order to liquidate the remaining items
    • On-Line – Place the remaining items in the RPA “Store”.  When the item(s) sell, you receive the proceeds
    • RPA can provide broom cleaning or can provide full cleaning services at the conclusion of the sale
    • RPA exits the property within 24-48 hours at the conclusion of the sale
    • RPA collects all signage
    • RPA provide you with your funds within one (1) business week
