Job Overview

Works closely with Amy and/or Herb to create engaging content for Free Range Pumpkins’ social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Update and create posts for social media channels such as:
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • Pinterest
  • Tumblr
  • YouTube
  • Ripl
• Update and create posts for Search Engines such as:
  • Google
  • Bing
• Create blog posts for website
• Create email blasts in Mailchimp

Occasional duties:

• Run cash register
• Receive and check in new merchandise
• Take inventory, Fill online orders
• Light housekeeping duties
• Answer phone

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, Marketing or Social Media Marketing Degree Preferred, Technology Skills, Content Writing, Graphic Design, Campaign Execution, Teamwork, Self-Motivation, Strong Communication Skills, Networking, Idea Presentation, SEO and PPC, Proofreading, Strong Customer-Service Skills, Enthusiasm, Detail-Oriented, Collaboration Customer Service experience, Familiarity with social media profiles, Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must possess at least one ID from a known game and be willing to acquire the others.  (i.e. DCI number, Konami Card Game ID, Cardass Club Registration, Pokemon Trainer etc)

Compensation

The initial contract is for 10 hours per week.  Extra hours may be negotiated on a needs basis. The starting salary is $XXX per hour and is paid on a bi-weekly basis. Direct deposit is available.
