Tipping Policy

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines on Free Range Pumpkins’ No Tipping Policy as part of the Company’s operational protocol for its staff, managers and valued customers

Scope

This policy applies to all employees.

Policy and Procedure

It is not customary to tip a cashier or sales associate at Free Range Pumpkins.  As such, it is our policy that employees of the Company, regardless of their capacity, do not accept for their personal benefits, gratuities, tips, cash, samples, etc. from anyone buying or selling to us, or in any way serving our company.

As of September 2022, the Company has suspended all tip pooling practices and policies.  The no-tipping policy enforces that no staff of the Company shall receive any form of tip from customers, may it be insisted or a voluntary gesture on the customer’s end.

Should a customer accidentally leave a tip out of habit or deliberately offer one despite our policy, the Company does not allow any employee to keep the tip, even when the customer intends it for them.  Any cash tips collected will go into our “need a penny” jar to help other customers.  Any large notes will be kept in a safe and used toward employee activities such as pizza parties, outings, etc.
